How would you describe the Spirit of Bend, Oregon?

Well, the spirit of Bend, Oregon has changed. I’ve been here since 1995, so when I first moved here and mentioned where I was from, the response was, “Oh, you’re from California?” They didn’t like me right away, but that changed and now, as a community, many of us are from somewhere else.
What I love about Bend and about the people who live here is that we live in and appreciate this gorgeous spot with nature all around us. That’s part of the reason why we named our company ‘Nest,’ because I feel we have this fascinating, fabulous little nest based on the east side of the cascades. It’s like a jewel, a gem to take care of.
